SOUNDSTREAM SNX771 PLUS
I guess what I'm getting at is that you don't have to spend $800 plus to get a feature rich unit with a great screen. One of the features that particularly caught my attention was how crisp and clear the screen was and how fast the processor was on the unit. I've decided to replace it with a Soundstream SNX 771 because I had really good luck with my previous Soundstream and the review I saw on YouTube really grabbed my attention after researching other models with similar features.
The screen looked and worked great and I never had a problem with the user interface (only that I felt it was a little outdated).Ĭurrently I have a Pioneer (one of their budget units, ~$200-$300 new back in 2010) touchscreen in my Avalanche that I'm not really that fond of, one of the reasons being is the screen and the difficulty I have 'touching' different buttons and setting configurations.

It had all the options of a Pioneer minus Bluetooth but was anywhere from $100-$200 cheaper. I had a Soundstream VIR7355NR in my Eclipse that worked great and only paid around $300 for it (7" touchscreen). Plus I want to keep the center speaker and such which will work with this head unit as well right?Ĭlick to expand.I'm going to disagree with this only on one point, and that's the pricing to quality ratio.
